Alien Monster

One of Zoda's minions, these aliens relentlessly release bullets in all directions. Mike will need to put those dodgeball skills from gym class to the test against these foes.
Ball Puzzle

These dangerous balls will roll around the room. Hitting them will change their direction. You'll need to get all the balls in the hole to open the passageway to the next room.
Bandit

These one-eyed bandits won't stop until they cuts you to pieces. Hit them from a distance to avoid becoming mincemeat!
Bear

Watch out for the deadly swipes of their claws. Try to attack them from the sides or at a distance. The gold ones have more health than blue, so you may need to hit and run to keep your distance.
Blade

Trust me, Mike doesn't need this close of a shave! Keep your peach fuzz intact and steer clear of the blades coming from the ground.

Typically found in clusters, blobs hop quickly around the room. The best bet is to hole up in the corner of the room and attack as fast as you can.
Bonespitter

These guys have a few bones to pick with Mike! These skulls spin around the room, only stopping when they want to spit bones at you. Dodge them and move in quickly to attack.
Boobytrap

These things just rise and fall. Move quickly under the ball when it is up, and you'll be all set. Don't look up!
Boulder

Boulders fall from the walls and roll across the screen. Don't even think about trying to jump over them.
Cactusman

Prickly on the outside, these creatures just want to give Mike a hug! When defeated, they will explode, shooting out some of their spines everywhere.
Cobra

Cobras just run around the room in random directions. They move swiftly and unpredictably. It's best to stay away and wait for them to come to you.

These are the least menacing crocodiles to ever exist. They just walk around with a stupid grin on their face.
Dirty Chest

These treasure chests are easy to spot due to their discoloration. They'll hop around spitting coins at you once you come into contact with them.
Dirty Coin

If you take too long to defeat the Dirty Chest, a Dirty Coin will emerge and start rolling around the room quickly after Mike.
Duck

These ducks angrily swim around like they own the place. They'll let loose some burpy bubbles that are anything but harmless. Blech
Fire

Fire can pop up where you least expect it, so beware. Stay away and try not to get too toasty!
Force Field

This Force Field doesn't hurt you, but it does block your way into the Pyramid. You'll need the Psychic Shockwave to get rid of it.
Frankenstein's Bride

Frankenstein's Monster

After one hit, the top part of these slow-moving creatures will be destroyed, leaving fast running legs. Hit the legs quickly before they run all over you!
Ghostly Group

These spooky specters always travel in packs. The teal ones are invincible but will make a ghostly getaway once you take out their purple leader. Don’t let your guard down as they’ll all take a parting shot at you before vanishing!
Giant Blob

Beware of the Giant Blob. It's large, gooey, and not shy about spitting acid your way. It will split apart into three smaller blobs during its death knell.
Giant Sewer Rat

These guys scurry around the room like their smaller brood. They’ve got a mean tail swipe and will occasionally lunge at you with a burst of speed the moment they spot you.
Gold Knight

These armor-clad warriors are resilient. Somehow they have an endless supply of ammo despite having zero pockets. And if that's not enough, he's got a shield too, so you can only damage him from behind.
Golden Child

There's nothing remarkable about this Golden Child. Just another pint-sized kid chaotically running laps around the room.
Grass Monster

These guys are perfectly camouflaged to blend in with the grass when they aren't moving. They'll occasionally move around and peek out with their giant yellow eyes to search for their next victim.
Hedgehog

When this creature sees Mike, it curls into a spiked ball and spin dashes around the room like another famous hedgehog. It’s invulnerable while rolled up, so hit it hard the moment it stops.
Hippo

This in one seriously grumpy hippo. It surfaces from the depths of the water to make a spiteful spit towards Mike and retreat. Move quickly to avoid this hippo's saliva shot and attack it before it dives back under.
Horus

This ancient Egyptian deity has the body of a man and the head of a falcon and has a ton of health. Fortunately for Mike, he is pretty weak. He wanders around the room and has the ability to fire off projectiles, but there's a good chance he'll be dead before he gets off his first shot.

These jellyfish aren’t much of a threat. They just drift lazily around the room. The orange ones are a bit tougher than the white but nothing to be concerned about.

These lizards come in purple and red, with the red ones be superior in every way. Your best bet is to stand your ground and wait for them to come to you.
Max Mummy

Unlike their tiny counterparts, these goliaths wander around with no sense of urgency but will head towards Mike when spotted. What they lack in speed, they more than make up for in brute strength and durability.
Minecart Rider

This Minecart Rider only makes a one-time appearance. He rides the rails back and forth while firing cannonballs and unleashing a nonstop parade of Golden Children.
Miner Ghoul

Miner Ghouls only appear briefly before vanishing again. Unlike in StarTropics, no Magic Mirror is required to reflect back their projectiles. Just hit them with your regular weapons.
Mini Monster

These pocket-sized cyclops are adorable. Mini Monsters just wander around aimlessly. Don't get too close, or they might gently nibble on your ankles.
Mini Mummy

Often seen alongside Max Mummies, these little guys are quick but fragile. Fire fast and hope your aim is good, or they’ll hit you before you know it.
Muscle Man

This guy is ripped but has no stamina. He walks around slowly and will exert all his energy to take a quick burst forward, so stay out of his path!
Mutant Frog

These one-eyed amphibians hop around the room looking for their next snack. Stay alert! They can leap right over water and land on you when you least expect it. The red mutants are tougher and pack more punch than the green ones.
Nocto

These are just like the Noctos in StarTropics. They fly around the room and sometimes stop to rest. The red Noctos are thrown out by Zoda-Y and are weaker than all of the other variants.
Owl

Owls stay airborne, so you’ll need to jump or strike from a higher platform to land a hit. They have an unfair advantage and can still hit you from their height though.
Pinball

These Pinballs are indestructible. You don't have to be a Pinball wizard to avoid them as they spin in circles.
Rocker

The Rocker may move slowly, but don’t drop your guard. When it takes its final hit it detonates in a violent burst, sending rocks flying in all directions. Keep your distance and be ready to jump over the debris.
Scorpion

Try not to get stung by these creepy crawlies! The pink ones are relatively harmless while the blue ones will shoot at you regardless of whether they have line of sight.

These sewer rats are reminiscent of the Rattus from StarTropics. They scurry around, pause for a quick spin, then dart off again. Defeat them before their tiny feet run all over you!
Silver Knight

This knight in shining armor is no joke. Its heavy armor provides him with strong defenses making it incredibly difficult to defeat. To make matters worse, each armor set comes equipped with its own endless supply of the 3 Way Shot. At least this one doesn't have a shield!
Skeleton

These skeletons can only be defeated temporarily. Strike them and they crumble into a pile of bones. But beware! Even in pieces, they’re still dangerous to the touch. Wait too long, and you’ll watch them reassemble, rising once more to continue their relentless march.
Skull Bug

The undead insects aren't much of a challenge. They just scamper around the room randomly in what appears to be a constant state of confusion.
Snowman

No magic hat required for these frosty fiends to spring to life. Send this chilly menace back to the North Pole before it's too late!
Sorcerer

Sorcerers float around the room dropping glass orbs all over the ground. Hitting the orb will send it hurling towards you at an unavoidable speed. Taking them down requires patience and a whole lot of persistence.
Spider

These arachnid assailants come in blue and green varieties. Blue spiders fire short-range bullets while the green ones are tougher can fire shots that can reach you from anywhere.

You can only avoid the Spike Fences by jumping over them. It's like hurdles - just a lot more painful if you mistime your jump!
Tombstone

These ghosts are only vulnerable if you shoot the tombstone strapped to their backs. Just be warned - doing so will trigger a counterattack. It’s the one time tombstone desecration is not only allowed... it’s encouraged!
Wall Stakes

These wooden stakes emerge from the wall to skewer anything in its path. Kebabs are delicious. Being one, less so. Stay off the menu!
Wild Boar

These little pork rockets will charge at you the moment they spot you. They're pretty weak and basically just an angry ham with legs.
Zoda Spawn

Direct from the big guy himself, these nasty mini-incarnations of the Prime Invader are stubborn and know nothing else except to kill Mike. Don't let them gang up on ya, or you could be in for big trouble. The green ones are tougher in every way.

Zodasaurs are the toughest foes you'll face. They launch massive energy balls as soon as you enter their line of sight. Your best bet is to attack from a diagonal angle. If you have to face them head-on, time your jumps to clear their projectiles.

Zombies are impervious to physical attacks. Switch to your Psychic Shockwave and they'll be no match for Mike.
