StarTropics II: Zoda's Revenge was a game released by Nintendo in 1994 for the NES. This is the only official sequel released by Nintendo
and, just like before, was released only in the United States and Europe. One of the biggest additions to this game was the
ability to jump and attack diagonally, along with improved graphics in many respects.
StarTropics II once again revolves around our hero Mike Jones. Mike and his uncle Dr. Steve Jones are attempting to decode the alien cipher they found on the escape pod and with some success they end up figuring it out using a book called The Oxford Wonder World. This book sucks Mike in and allows him to travel to many different locations and time periods throughout the course of the game. Gone is the island hopping adventure found in the original.
